With the 2009 Tour De France well underway, it is great to see 7 time consecutive winner and cancer survivor, Lance Armstrong coming back to race again this year, he has even said that this may not be his last year racing. I wasn’t ever into the race that much until I read Lance’s book, It’s Not About the Bike, a few years back. Not only is it an amazing book but it really gives you a second look at the tight short spandex wearing guys who probably piss you off on the road. It’s great to see the training they endure and how each rider on the team has a specific duty during the race. Along with not only the fight Lance went through to beat cancer, but also his fight to return to competitive cycling.

For those of you who haven’t, I really recommend reading his book and tuning into the final stages of this year’s Tour De France, Lance is in the final fight for the overall win, and it is guaranteed to be some great racing!
