Water Base Ink For Apparel Printing.

Tuesday, April 28th, 2009
Water Based Ink

Even though the “standard” for apparel printing is the use of plastisol inks, it is a petroleum based product that needs some pretty nasty solvents to clean it up. If you’re thinking about using environmentally responsible apparel this year (organic cotton, bamboo, recycled, etc): ie “green”, why not print with environmentally responsible water base ink: ie “green”?

You’re invited to click onto our print website, www.dspe.us who use water base inks for every day printing. Although Organic Apparel always recommends using your local printer, we strongly believe in water base printing and hope you will consider its benefits to you, as well as the environment. Check it out and if you have any questions, feel free to contact us or someone from Colorado Screen Print & Embroidery (dba: Denver Screen Print & Embroidery).
